Q. What is an LMS?
A. LMS stands for Learning Management System.  This is our online learning portal for all of our Self-Paced Online Classes.

Q.  I took training on GBTS/TSCTA’s LMS before. Can I use my log in information on the Ziiva platform?
A.  Yes and No. If your user name was created on or before 4/17/24, your account information has been moved to our new Ziiva LMS platform and your user name remains the same.  Your password has been changed to GBTS2024 and must be reset to a password only you will have access to the first time you log onto Ziiva.

Q. Is my user name, password, or email address case sensitive? 
A. The user name is not case-sensitive. Your password and email address are and must be entered exactly as it appears in your account. 

Q. Will I still be able to access my old LMS account?
A. No, as of 4/18/24, you will not be able to log into your old account. Don’t worry! You will not need to. All of your data, training history, purchases, and course completion certificates will automatically move over to the new Ziiva platform. Your dashboard may look a little different but we’re here to help guide you along to understand where you can find everything.

Q. What if I purchased training on the old LMS site and didn’t finish it?
A. You will be able to access all training purchased on the old LMS site on the new Ziiva platform. Whatever you have already completed will carry over. If you are in the middle of a course (module) when the transition happens, you will have to restart that specific course (module) but not the entire program.

Q. How long do I have to complete my training?
A. We have expanded the length of time you will have access to your training. You must complete your training within 6 month or approximately 180 days of registering for the course. If you do not complete the course within this period, you will be required to re-register for the course and purchase it again.

Q. When will I receive a certificate of completion for the course?
A. Yes, once you successfully complete the course, a certificate of completion will immediately be issued. You can view and print the certificate by selecting "My Transcript"  and then "View Certifications" from your course dashboard.

Q. Completed all your training and need to apply for a new, upgraded, or renewed SST card?

Q. Is the new Ziiva LMS platform mobile friendly?
A. Yes, with Ziiva you can access your courses anytime, anywhere without being tied to a desk or a specific location. Log on anywhere you have an internet connection using your cell phone, tablet, laptop. Desktop computers can also be used.

Q. Does your new LMS System meet NYC DOB’s active proctor requirement?
A. Yes. To ensure that you are the only person who participates in this training, you will need to confirm your identity at various points throughout the course. This is part of our active proctoring and monitoring system required by the NYC DOB. Before you begin training, you will be asked to answer a series of personal validation questions. A validation question will appear on your screen at the beginning of each course module and then randomly throughout the training. You will have approximately 60 seconds to respond. If you fail to respond correctly or do not respond within 60 seconds, that response will be flagged as failed. You will be given a total of four attempt to respond correctly to the validation question. Students will become temporarily locked out of the program after four failed personal validation attempts.

To resume your training after being locked out, please contact Support to confirm your identity. You can also submit your request using our Live Chat feature if you need assistance during our regular hours of operation.
